Imagine a blanket of snow glistening under a bright blue sky, majestic mountains standing tall in the background, and you, wrapped in the warmth of love, exchanging vows with your partner, with your closest friends by your side. That's exactly what Laura and Jess experienced when they travelled all the way from America to celebrate their love in Chamonix, the ultimate winter elopement and sports destination in France. Let me take you on a snowboarding elopement in France with Lauren and Jess. Yes, you read that right, snowboard elopement, both of them are winter sports lovers. So what did they do? They combined their love for the sport with their love for each other. That's exactly what I recommend to every couple who wants to elope. Do what you dream of and I will help you make your dream Elopement come true.

Dream as big as you want, your elopement is your dream come true

They shared a big house with all their friends, where we started the day with a Getting Ready. Lauren and Jess decided to get dressed together, as they already knew their wedding outfits. With two of their friends, we started the first exploration of the day. We took the famous cable car up to Aiguille du Midi. Despite Jess being afraid of heights, she conquered this adventure and we had an incredible view with sunshine. You can see the whole of the Alps, including Chamonix. We soaked up the view and the sunshine and took a few pictures, but that wasn’t all, we went even higher in a lift. Up there we had an epic view of Mont Blanc and if you're adventurous like Lauren, you can ski down the glacier like she did the day before. After our adventures, we headed back to our Airbnb to change into our ski gear. They gathered all their friends who had come with them and we all went to Mountain Plan Praz. We took the cable car all the way up, in winter this mountain is known for many ski and snowboard routes, in spring, summer and autumn you can start incredible hikes from here.

Before saying their vows and setting up their ceremony rooms, Lauren and Jess and their friends took a black route. They loved every moment of it as the views are breathtaking.

After the ride, we created a ceremony spot together, two skiers made it to an incredible wedding arch. All their friends shared beautiful words about them as they stood on the snow with some stunning mountain peaks as a backdrop. When it came to their personal vows, Jess surprised everyone with her Eminem-like rap skills, which made everyone laugh. The ceremony ended with a trellis made by their friends with ski poles, champagne bottles were opened with skis and a wedding cake was shared. The cake wasn't planned and was made by our friend Stephan who normally makes wedding cakes and he surprised them with a small wedding cake which went incredibly well with all the champagne they were celebrating. After the ceremony we took some time to hit the slopes before heading down the mountain. We celebrated Lauren and Jess at the famous La folie douce hotel. We celebrated with beer, pizza and the first dance on the table. I would call it an incredible Apres ski elopement party.
